Marino was ranked No. 4 in the world in Big Air entering the event. She won a Big Air event last February at Fenway Park in Boston.

She will compete in the X Games Slopestyle contest on Saturday. Langland and Gasser are also among the eight athletes in the competition, which will be televised on ABC and is scheduled to begin at 3:15 p.m.

Marino will compete in a World Cup event next week, and it is also an Olympic qualifier. Marino took second in a World Cup competition in November in South Korea.
