With Schramm’s addition, the RTC now is complete at 25 members.

“I appreciate Mike stepping forward to join the RTC during this critical election cycle. We have an opportunity to secure victories for many of our candidates this year. Mike gives us another hand on deck who will work hard to ensure GOP success in the general elections set for Tuesday, November 8,” said RTC Chair Bob Ferguson.

Schramm and his wife, Dr. Pamela Schramm, along with their three daughters, moved to Weston in 2007. He is a financial executive at Bloomberg. He has degrees from the University of Delaware and Emory University, where he earned an MBA in its accelerated program. He and his wife, an optometrist, own an optometry business in Danbury, where they count many Weston residents among the patients they serve. His community service includes coaching and managing his daughters’ teams for the Weston Soccer Club.

Schramm is also seeking an appointed position on the Weston Parks and Recreation Commission, for which he received endorsement by the RTC as well. The Board of Selectmen will make the final decision on his appointment.
