A Norwalk woman was charged with larceny after not paying a $12,000 bill for services she had performed at Westport MediSpa, according to Westport Police.
Sue Stebbing, 63, had a procedure performed at the spa in Dec. 2017 and told the business employees that she would be coming "into money" from a business transaction and would pay them later, said Westport Police Lt. Jillian Cabana.
After months of attempting to receive payment from Stebbing, the business contacted police who, following an investigation, issued a warrant for her arrest, Cabana said.
Stebbings turned herself on the warrant on Tuesday and was released after posting $20,000 bond. She is scheduled to appear in court on May 21.
