WESTPORT, Conn. — A 46-year-old Westport man was arrested Sunday, Nov. 24, and charged with second-degree strangulation, a felony, after police received a call about a woman screaming for help.
When police arrived at the Kings Highway North home of Michael Wall, it was determined that a physical confrontation had taken place between Wall and his live-in girlfriend.
Wall also was charged with third-degree assault, a misdemeanor, and released after posting bond. He was scheduled to appear at Norwalk Superior Court on Monday.
