Westport Couple Charged With Slinging Arrows, Rocks Into Neighbor's Yard

WESTPORT, Conn. -- Westport police have charged a man and woman with criminal trespass in connection to a series of incidents involving their neighbor.

Officers responded to the Westport home of Kyle and Carrie Owen to investigate a trespassing complaint on Thursday, May 19, police report.

Kyle and Carrie, both 44, were captured on video surveillance trespassing on their neighbor’s property several times in the previous week, according to police.

They were shooting arrows into the neighbor’s property on one occasion, and throwing large rocks over a fence in the same neighbor’s property on another occasion, police said.

The suspects were arrested on Saturday, May 28; they have both been charged with disorderly conduct and criminal trespass in the first degree, according to officials.

The defendants' bond was set at $5,000 apiece, police report.

They have a court date in Norwalk on Tuesday, according to officials.
