Weston Firefighters Extinguish Burning Truck

WESTON, Conn. -- Members of the Weston Volunteer Fire Department responded to a truck fire at about 11:15 p.m. Thursday.

The first-arriving member found a fully involved pickup truck fire next to an outbuilding, on Valley Forge Road, fire officials said.

The department noted that it was able to put out the fire quickly, and it didn't spread to the nearby building.
