Six People Face Various Charges In Westport

WESTPORT, Conn. -- Last week was a busy one for Westport police with the arrest of six people for a variety of offenses ranging from stealing to disorderly conduct, according to the Westport News.

An 18-year-old Westport man is facing felony disorderly conduct and risk of injury to a child after police said he hit a woman and a girl in the face during an argument July 21. 

On July 18, police arrested two Yonkers, N. Y., men on larceny charges after police found them taking cooking oil from a tank behind Five Guys restaurant, the Westport News reports.

A 39-year-old Westport man is facing breach of peace after an altercation July 21 with a woman at a Westport restaurant was seen by an off-duty police officer. 

On July 19, a 29-year-old Danbury woman and a 60-year-old Westport woman were arrested on misdemeanor larceny charges for leaving a Whole Foods store in Westport without paying for groceries, the Westport News reports.
