Second Woman Charged In Checkout Scam At Westport Goodwill

WESTPORT, Conn. -- A Bridgeport woman was arrested for shoplifting at the Golden Hill Street Goodwill in Westport.

Shirley Jennings, 51, was accused of intentionally not scanning items while her accomplice was checking out, police said.

As previously reported, Charmaine Pottinger was arrested for being the alleged accomplice. She was arrested on an active warrant and issued a court date for March 28.

Jennings was charged with fifth-degree larceny and has a court date of April 5 in Norwalk.
