WESTPORT, Conn. — A Trumbull woman turned herself in to Westport police on a warrant Wednesday, after she was seen “pummeling” a man in a car in July in town, police said.
Hannah Laflin, 19, of Meadow View Drive, was charged with breach of peace in the incident.
A witness told police she was driving on Post Road East on July 12, when she noticed a female driver stop her car and begin hitting her male passenger with her fists, police said.
She called 911 and officers were able to track down Laflin from her license plate, but the victim refused to cooperate, police said.
The witness went to the police station to file a written sworn statement.
Laflin was charged and released on a promise to appear on Oct. 5.
