WESTPORT, Conn. — A Norwalk woman accused of stealing cash while working at Supercuts last year turned herself in to police Tuesday.
In February 2016, a Supercuts manager suspected an employee was stealing and surveillance cameras were installed the following month, police said.
Employee Jessica Lopez, 35 of Woodward Avenue, was caught on tape stealing money given to her by customers on five separate occasions, police said. The thefts totaled about $100.
Lopez was charged with sixth-degree larceny and was released after posting $2,500 bond, police said.
She is scheduled to appear in court on April 6.
