Connecticut State Police investigators are seeking the public’s assistance as they attempt to track down a suspect who stole a handbag from a local Five Guys restaurant.
Members of the Oxford Police Department and Connecticut State Police troopers were dispatched to the burger joint on Oxford Road at approximately 5:10 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, where there was a report of the stolen bag.
Police said that the investigation into the stolen bag led investigators to obtain surveillance photos of a female suspect, which have been released. In the photos, the woman, a brunette wearing a black t-shirt can be seen taking the bag and walking off with it.
