WESTPORT, Conn. — A Westport man was charged with drunken driving late Aug. 9 after he ran into the back of a moped and injured the driver, police said.
Donald Fries, 57, of Chestnut Lane, was driving on the Post Road East at about 11 p.m., when he struck the back of the moped, which was stopped at a red light, police said. The rider sustained minor injuries, police said.

He was held on $500 bond with a court date of Aug. 22.
