Police said that investigators were dispatched to a stretch of Route 262 near Frost Bridge Road in Watertown at approximately 5 a.m. on July 27, when a pickup truck and a car collided. The drivers and passengers were transported to local hospitals, and a passenger in the car was pronounced dead.
The driver of the car is in serious condition, according to reports. The others involved in the crash suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The names of the people in the crash have not been released by investigators.
