Police received multiple calls regarding shots fired in the area of 569 Arctic St. in Bridgeport around 12:30 a.m. Thursday, according to Av Harris, spokesman for the Bridgeport PD.
When police arrived on scene they found that one man had been transported privately to Bridgeport Hospital with a non-life threatening leg wound, he said.
The victim told police he was walking up Pembroke Road with his headphones on when he was shot, Harris added.
The shooting is under investigation.
