Driver Injured In 1-Car Crash On Weston's Georgetown Road

WESTON, Conn. -- Weston firefighters responded to a one-car crash Saturday on Georgetown Road to the aid a driver who suffered nonlife-threatening injuries.

According to a post on the Weston Volunteer Fire Department's Facebook page, the crash, which drew several volunteer fire units along with a Weston ambulance, involved a gray BMW sedan that went off road and over a small rock wall before coming to rest beside a tree.

The driver, said to be the only person inside the car, was taken to Norwalk Hospital by Weston EMS for treatment.
