Fernando Morales, 41, of Derby, and Rafael Valle, 34, of Bridgeport, were arrested in the incident. A third person was also being sought, police said.
Westport officers were dispatched to the Volvo dealership at 550 Post Road E. at 9 a.m. Tuesday on a report of a fight. When they arrived, they found two men fighting in the middle of the road, and it appeared that they had been involved in a motor vehicle accident on the Post Road, police said.

The officers quickly handcuffed the two men and began to investigate.
Officers learned that there had been a disturbance among the involved people in Derby before the Westport incident, according to police.
The town had issued a warning to residents Tuesday morning, advising them to secure their properties as the investigated the incident.

One other male fled the scene on the Post Road and have not been located, police said.
One of the two men in custody was treated at Norwalk Hospital for injuries sustained during the altercation, police said.
Morales was charged with second-degree assault, first-degree reckless endangerment and breach of peace. He was released after posting $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on Nov. 6.

A third person was still being sought by Westport police in connection with the incident. Westport officers are working closely with the Derby Police Department to investigate, police said.
