WESTPORT, Conn. -- Sally Ann DeMattio, a lifelong Westport resident, died on Saturday, Feb. 13. She was 62.
DeMattio worked for the post office for over 22 years. "(She) always said she genuinely enjoyed getting to know her customers on a personal level," according to information provided by the Harding Funeral Home.
"She was a beautiful soul who shined her light through her beautiful smile. She truly enjoyed her home, her gardens, and her little dogs, Daisy and Rascal."
DeMattio is survived by her mother, Dolores, and siblings Kathy, Ralph, Joey and Mike.
A celebration of her life will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, Feb 19, at Harding Funeral Home, 210 Post Rd. East, in Westport. A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 20, meeting directly at Assumption Church, 98 Riverside Ave., in Westport.
