Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the son of the late Jack and Dorothy Thomas, he had been a Westport resident since 2001. He received a bachelor’s degree from Southern Methodist University. His career in corporate finance spanned many years where he served in executive positions at Xerox and most recently, John Deere Financial in Des Moines, Iowa. He devoted all of his time to his family who were the most important thing in his life.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, Kris, include two children, Madison and Griffin Thomas; a brother, Josh Thomas; two sisters, Cindy Thomas and Carrie Walker; and many nieces and nephews.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 1719 Post Road, Fairfield. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the MZB Cancer Research Foundation.
