Westport To Close Church Lane For Paving This Week

WESTPORT, Conn. -- Westport's Church Lane will be closed for grading and paving, beginning this Wednesday, Nov. 2.

The highlighted part of Church Lane will be closed Wednesday into Thursday.

Beginning at 7 a.m. Wednesday, the road will be closed from its intersection at Elm Street to Post Road East. Church Lane, from Myrtle Avenue to Elm Street, will remain open.

Traffic will be detoured via Elm Street.

"Drivers are urged to use caution, expect potential delays and seek alternate routes," town officials note.

The closure is expected to end at 5 p.m. this Thursday.
