Weston Rep. Shaban Hosting Community Discussion On Opioid Crisis

WESTON, Conn. -- State Rep. John Shaban (R-135) is hosting a community discussion on Connecticut’s opioid addiction crisis from 6:30-8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31 at Weston Town Hall, 56 Norfield Road.

The free event, which is open to all citizens of the 135th district and surrounding towns, will feature a panel of local officials to guide the discussion, share information and answer questions.

Panelists will include Easton First Selectman Adam Dunsby; Easton Police Chief Tim Shaw; Redding First Selectwoman Julia Pemberton; Redding Police Chief Douglas Fuchs; Weston First Selectwoman Nina Daniel; Weston Police Chief John Troxell; Western Connecticut Council of Governments Associate Planner Elizabeth Esposito; and Mid-Fairfield Substance Abuse Coalition Diresctor Giovanna Pisani.
