Weston Plans Special Meeting On Selectman Status

WESTON, CONN. -- Weston's Board of Selectmen is planning a special meeting Tuesday to talk about the status of First Selectman Nina Daniel.

According to the agenda posted on the Town of Weston website, a potential executive session may be called during the "discussion/decision regarding the health, performance, evaluation, employment and/or removal of the First Selectman."

Daniel took a two-week vacation prior to a medical leave that began on Sept. 7 medical leave, the Weston Forum says. Selectman Dennis Tracey has been filling in, but the three-person board has been down to two during Daniel's absence, the Weston Forum says.
