WESTPORT, Conn. — A 2-mile stretch of Route 136 in Westport is slated to undergo milling and resurfacing beginning Tuesday, the state Department of Transportation announced on its website.
The project is scheduled to run from May 28 to June 7. Work will take place weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., the announcement said.
Drivers can expect lane closures between Route 57 (Weston Road) and Catamount Road. Traffic control personnel and signs will be used to guide drivers through the work zone.
Although the project is scheduled for completion on June 7, modifications or extensions to the schedule may occur due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions, the announcement said.
