No Lifeguards Will Be At Westport's Burying Hill Beach On Weekdays

WESTPORT, Conn. -- Effective Monday, Aug. 15, there will be no lifeguards on duty at Burying Hill Beach from Monday through Friday. 

No lifeguards will be on duty at Burying Hill Beach in Westport on weekdays for the rest of summer.

Lifeguards will be on duty Saturday and Sunday only from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Sept. 5. 

Compo Beach will continue to have lifeguards on duty daily through Sept. 5. 

Beach emblems are required through Sept. 30.
