Speaker At Y's Men Of Westport/Weston To Examine U.S.-Cuba Relations

WESTPORT, Conn. — The Y’s Men of Westport/Weston will hear from an expert on the topic of America’s future relationship with Cuba as the two countries begin to normalize relations.

John Kavulich, president of the U.S.-Cuba Trade and Economic Council Inc., will speak at the meeting on Sept. 22, at the Saugatuck Congregational Church at 245 Post Road E., Westport.

The U.S.-Cuba Trade and Economic Council is a private, membership-based, not-for-profit, nonpartisan organization established in 1994. It is the most widely sourced business organization within the United States focusing on the Republic of Cuba.

Kavulich earned a bachelor of business administration degree from the George Washington University School of Government and Business Administration. He is a citizen of both the United States and Canada.

Y's Men of Westport/Weston is an organization of retired and semi-retired men with a continued interest in activity, fellowship, learning and community service.
