This year the much-anticipated showcase of in-town eateries will run from Oct. 1 to Oct. 15 to allow Fairfield County foodies time to sample a few of the many restaurants participating.

“Our restaurants have embraced this event wholeheartedly, making it very robust. People will need the two weeks,” said Matthew Mandell, executive director of the Westport Weston Chamber of Commerce, which organizes the event.

This year’s event also involves a few price points rather than one price for all restaurants, be they modest or high end. Lunch prices range from $15 to $25, with dinners coming in at $25 to $35.

Brunch options are also available.

“Restaurant Week is a very important event for us,” said Marc Murphy, manager of The Spotted Horse. “Not only is it a great marketing tool to introduce new customers to our restaurant, it can be seen as a reward to those customers that enjoy dining here on a regular basis.”

Participating restaurants include The Spotted Horse, Boca, Rio Bravo, Tarry Lodge, The Gray Goose, Sakura and Le Penguin, among many others. Click here for a full list and prix fixe menus.
