Pair Of Paddle Tennis Courts Ready For Play At Birchwood CC In Westport

WESTPORT, Conn. -- A pair of paddle tennis courts have been added to the outdoor sports facilities at Birchwood Country Club.

On Sunday, the courts were dedicated and formally opened for use with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Officials in attendance included Westport First Selectman Jim Marpe; Curtis Angell, Club General Manager; Rachael Francis, Head of the Tennis Committee; Spencer Brown, Club President; Matt Mandell, Westport/Weston Chamber of Commerce; and Michael Kember, Head Tennis Pro.
