A great food writer will separate the delicious from the dull for readers. As food writers go, Colman Andrews and Gabrielle Hamilton are two of the best. Wednesday, Oct. 12, youll have a chance to see them in person at the Ferguson Library in Stamford.
Colman Andrews co-founded the foodies favorite glossy, Saveur magazine, where he also served as editor-in-chief. A celebrated author, he has nine books under his apron. Country Cooking of Italy is his latest offering, set to be released in November. On his last book tour, he sat down with me for an interview which you can read here .
Gabrielle Hamilton is the culinary talent behind Prune , a top-notch restaurant tucked away in Manhattans East Village. In addition to being a contributer to publications like The New York Times and The New Yorker , she also penned Blood, Bones & Butter, a bestselling memoir.
