Dr. Michael Lee, a board-certified pediatric doctor credentialed as a Concussion ImPACT Test Consultant, has spoken about concussions across the world, according to the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce, which is sponsoring the event.

On March 1, he’ll deliver his presentation, “The Truth About Concussions,” as the sixth lecture in the Chamber’s 2016-2017 Health & Wellness lecture series. The event is open to the public.

In addition to his credentials and worldwide recognition, Lee authored “Returning to Learning Following a Concussion” in 2013. The publication has since been used as a national guideline for the Academy of Pediatrics, event organizers said, adding that Lee is affiliated with Yale University, Bridgeport Hospital and the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center.

The 6 p.m. lecture on Wednesday, March 1, is set to begin on the second floor of the Norma Pfriem Breast Center, 111 Beach Road in Fairfield.

Limited seating is available for the lecture, so those who plan to attend are asked to RSVP by Feb. 27.
