Designer Matt Bernson Opens Shoe Boutique In Westport

WESTPORT, Conn. -- Tribeca shoe and boot designer Matt Bernson has opened a second boutique in Westport, where he lives with his family.

"Matt Bernson," whose shoes grace the feet of Gisele Bündchen, Taylor Swift, Courtney Cox, Sarah Jessica Parker, Lea Michele and Olivia Palermo, will offer Westport shoppers a range of boots and shoes at his Main Street location.

Among the offerings will be shearling boots, rugged boots and heeled booties, casual wedges, oxfords, espadrilles, and ballet flats.

Bernson is known for his refined, downtown aesthetic and transforming raw materials into everyday luxury.

He received early immediate celebrity attention when he launched a small collection of handmade sandals in a Tribeca design studio over eight years ago.

The flagship boutique is located in Tribeca. The Westport, Bernson designed himself and opened in December 2015. He lives in Westport with his wife and two sons.
