Weston police reported no road closures, accidents or disabled vehicles as of 8:30 a.m. Wednesday. All Weston residents had power, according to Connecticut Light & Power.
Residents are advised to stay home so road crews can clear the snow, which is expected to continue falling until this evening. Schools and town offices are closed.
Weston is on track to break snowfall records. The closest city with available records is New Haven, which had 46.3 inches fall during March of 1888. New York City saw 37.9 inches accumulate during February of 1894. Weston has already seen more than 30 inches, with another 19 days left in the month.
