Easton police report no road closures, accidents or disabled vehicles as of 8:30 a.m. Wednesday. All Easton residents have power, according to United Illuminating Co.
Residents are advised to stay at home so road crews can clear the snow, which is expected to continue falling until this evening.
Easton may on track to break snowfall records. The closest city with available records is New Haven, which had 46.3 inches fall during March 1888. Easton has already seen more than 30 inches, with another 19 days left in the month.
