Route 136 Reopens In Fairfield; Downed Tree, Wires Cleared From Scene

original story: FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Route 136 is closed in both directions on Wednesday morning at Judges Hollow Road in northern Fairfield due to a fallen tree on wires, according to the state Department of Transportation.

The closure was first reported at 6:42 a.m. by DOT.

DOT said the cleanup of the debris and repairs would be done, with the road reopened, in four hours or less.
