EASTON, Conn. — A tree and wires were down Thursday evening on Mills Lane at West Road and Route 136, Easton Police said in a Facebook message.

No power outages have been reported, and United Illuminating has been notified and is responding to the scene, police said. 

"Please use caution if you must drive as trees are heavy with snow cover, causing dangerous conditions," police said.

Motorists should seek alternate routes if possible.
