Truck Overturns In Three-Vehicle Crash: Njsp Two trucks and a car collided in a three-car crash on Thursday, April 11 on Route 80 in Morris County, causing one of the trucks to overturn, authorities said. At 1:58 p.m., a Freightliner tractor-trailer, a Subaru passenger vehicle and an Isuzu box truck were traveling westbound on Route 80 in Rockaway Township when they collided, causing the Isuzu to overturn, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. The driver of the Subaru sustained minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital, Lebron said. The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.

Three Paterson Residents Committed Check Fraud: Denville PD A trio from Paterson were arrested and charged on Wednesday, April 10 with passing bad checks in Morris County, police said. Officers investigated a report of check fraud at a local bank, Denvile police said in a release. The investigation led to the arrest of Oliver Hall, 51, Ramon Olivo-Olivia, 46 and Marilyn Morel-Diaz, police said. They were charged with bad checks, conspiracy and unlawful taking of moveable property, police said. Hunterdon County Man Busted With Narcotics In QuickChek Parking Lot: Police A 40-year-old Lebanon Borough resident was arrested on Friday, April 12 after he was discovered with narcotics in a QuickChek parking lot in Readington, police said. At 3 a.m. police responded to a report of an aggressive driver traveling east on Route 22 near County Line Road and pulled over Michael Fittipaldi in a QuickChek parking lot, Readington police said. Student Hospitalized After Assault At Essex County High School: Police A student was hospitalized after being assaulted at a high school in Essex County on Tuesday, April 9, authorities said. Maplewood police said a student at Columbia High School was assaulted by a student from a different school. The victim was treated by and transported with their parent to an area hospital by South Essex Fire Department, Maplewood police said in a release. Last December, the township approved a redevelopment agreement to develop a film studio at the site credited with the birthplace film industry. Former Flemington Councilman Indicted For Stealing $1K From Democrats: Prosecutor A former member of the town council was recently for indicted for stealing $1,000 from the Flemington Democratic Club last year, authorities said. Malik Johnston, a 47-year-old Flemington resident, was indicted for theft by a grand jury in Hunterdon County for stealing $1,000 from the club's bank account at a branch in Bridgewater, Hunterdon County Prosecutor Renée M. Raritan Man Arrested In Stabbing: Prosecutor A 31-year-old Raritan man was arrested and charged with a stabbing that occurred in the early morning of Monday, April 1, authorities said. Jose Cruz-Guzman stabbed another man in the hand during an argument just before 4 a.m., Somerset County Prosecutor John McDonald said.
