Nyack Man Charged With Slashing Orangetown Man In Face A 63-year-old Hudson Valley man has been charged with the alleged slashing of another man with a knife on St. Patrick's Day. Rockland County resident Eddie Sanchez of Nyack was charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon on Monday, March 29, for the Sunday, March 17 attack, said Rockland County District Attorney Thomas Walsh II. Hit-Run Crash: Man Seriously Injured In Danbury A man was seriously injured after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in Fairfield County. The incident occurred in Danbury around 8:15 p.m., Wednesday, April 3 in the area of 9A Clapboard Ridge Road. Pipe Bomb Located On CT Riverbed A pipe bomb was discovered in a Connecticut riverbed by a person using a metal detector along the shoreline.  The incident took place in New Haven County around 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 2 in the area of Red Bridge at the intersection of Oregon Road and River Road in Meriden.
