Westport's Lucas Hausman scored 30 points for the Hopkins boys basketball team in a 62-54 win over Masters in a Fairchester Athletic Association game. Fairfield's Peter McGrath and Nolan Paige anchored a strong defensive effort for the New Haven school, which improved to 6-10.
Matt Luciani added 10 points and 14 rebounds, while Laurent Firlotte scored 14. Matt Pun, Paul Tupper and Jack Lubin also played well defensively. Hopkins hosts Christian Heritage in a non-league game Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
