Westport Gymnast Wins Big At Muriel Grossfeld Invitational Meet

WESTPORT, Conn. -- Natalie Parker, a fifth-grader at Greens Farms Academy, placed first overall in her age group at the Muriel Grossfeld Invitational Gymnastics meet at Southern Connecticut State University last Saturday, Oct. 19.

On vault she scored 9.450, taking first place. On beam she scored a 9.450, also taking first place. On bars she scored a 9.050, for fourth place. On floor she scored 8.900, taking fifth place. She had an overall score of 36.850.

Natalie is a Level 4 USGA gymnast at Arena Gymnastics in Stamford.

Muriel Grossfeld, an Olympian in the U.S. Gymnastics Hall of Fame, presented the first place award to Natalie.
