The Women’s Varsity 2x, with Christina Johnson of Redding and Jo Gurman of Weston, placed second in the A Final, earning a silver medal.
The Women’s Varsity 8+, made up of Lily Powers and Connor Cashel of Fairfield, Felicity Cain of Darien, Emily Patton of Guilford, Mary Beth Greer of Wilton, Jo Gurman of Weston, and Louisa Freeman and Anna Petterson of Westport, placed fourth in the country in the A Final. The Men’s Varsity 4x, which consisted of Nick Balderston of Ridgefield, Cameron Yates of Fairfield, and Jeff Monahan and Christoph Bub of Westport, finished fifth in the A Final.
The Women’s Lightweight Varsity 8+ placed fourth in the B Final, 10th overall. This boat included Nica Wardell, Maddie Lavoie, Lexi Bralver, and Alexandra Manning of Westport, as well as Genevieve Esse of Fairfield, Joanna Moley of Darien, Kaitlyn McCann of Ridgefield, and Victoria Thorogood of Wilton.
Finishing first in the C final and 13th overall was the Men’s Lightweight Varsity 8+. The crew was made up of Lauren Hochmann of Fairfield, Connor O’Brien of Easton, Drew Senesac of Ridgefield, and Lucas Manning, Jack Craymer, Chris Fincher, Nick Amato, Warren Schorr, and John Andrews of Westport.
Saugatuck also qualified a Men’s Varsity 4+ for Youth Nationals, coxed by Emily Clayton of Weston and rowed by Lee Glicklich of Ridgefield, John Hunter of Westport, Wit Geffs of Greenwich, and Nick Upton of Redding. The Varsity 4+ narrowly missed qualifying for finals following the repechages.
