WESTON, Conn. The Weston U12 Blue travel soccer team had an impressive run in the Connecticut Junior Soccer Association Connecticut Cup, making it to the final four in a bracket of 42 teams from around the state. The team defeated Westport Blue (3-0), Wethersfield Revolution (6-0), and Ridgefield Black (4-2) before falling in the semifinals to West Hartford TNT, who ultimately claimed the Cup.
The team had a strong showing in the association's Southwest District, too, losing just one regular season league game. League playoffs were canceled after the October snowstorm.
