Weston Campers, It's Time to Play Ball!

WESTON, Conn. -- Get off the couch and step to the plate at Dennis Whalen's Fundamental Boy's Baseball Camp. During the first week of August, kids will learn the fundamentals of hitting, fielding, base-running, catching and throwing. 

The camp, for boys entering grades two through seven, will meet at the South House fields at Hurlbutt Elementary School. Drop-off and pick-up are at the Fire House parking lot. The camp runs from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. 

Whalen, Fairfield University's assistant basketball coach, has been director of the All-American Sports Camp in Weston for 22 years.
