WESTON, Conn. The Weston High boys cross country team swept a quad meet Tuesday at Weston to complete the regular season with a 12-2 record in the South-West Conference.
Weston beat Brookfield, 26-29; Oxford, 17-46; and Oxford in its final quad meet of the year.
Westons David Stankiewicz won the race in 15:37, six seconds off the course record set by Newtowns Jake Feinstein. Noah Krassin finished second and Matt Bolin was fourth for Weston.
Matt Proctor (10th), Cole Clark (11th) and Will Glaser (12th) followed for Weston, while Mike Aaron was 13th, Mike Aaron was 14th and Sam Augustyn was 15th.
Weston now awaits the SWC championships on Thursday, Oct. 20, at Bethel High School.
