WESTON, Conn. Weston Highs boys basketball team posted its biggest win of the season Friday with a 62-59 victory over previously unbeaten Immaculate. Max Molinsky scored 20 points and Charlie DiPasquale added 17 to lead the way for the Trojans, who improved to 9-8 overall and 5-6 in the South-West Conference.
Weston, which had dropped seven of its last nine games, led 30-26 at halftime after outscoring the Mustangs 15-7 in the second quarter. The Trojans did their damage from long range, connecting on 10 three-pointers. Molinsky nailed four, and DiPasquale had three.
Lyle Mitchell scored seven points, grabbed 15 rebounds and had two blocks. Troy Flynn added eight points.
Weston has three games remaining in the regular season, beginning Tuesday against Joel Barlow.
