After a rough start, Weston boys basketball pulled away with a 56-49 win over New Fairfield on Tuesday. The teams were neck-and-neck at the half, with 21 points each. The Trojans came out in the third period firing and led until the final whistle.
Weston's Cole Roseman nailed 18 points and eight rebounds, and Lyle Mitchell added eight points and 15 boards. Freshman Erik Dammen-Brower added eight points and eight rebounds for the Trojans.
The boys are now 3-3 and square off against Newtown on Friday.
