WESTPORT, Conn. -- Runners, cyclists and swimmers cruised through Westport early Sunday morning in the first Sherwood Island Sprint Triathlon. The event, sponsored by Targetraining of Westport, featured 158 finishers and four relay teams. The competitors swam one-half mile, rode bikes 13 miles and finished with a 3.1-mile run. Jim Ball of Enfield and Suzie Snyder were the men's and women's overall winners. Here are photos of some of the athletes, most of whom are from Main Street Connect communities. Complete results are available online.
