Staples Tops Westhill, Earns Spot In FCIAC Title Game

WESTPORT, Conn. – The Staples High School varsity football team continued its undefeated season Thursday night during its homecoming game against Stamford’s Westhill High School, winning 49-7. The Wreckers are now 8-0.

The win secures the Wreckers’ spot in the Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Conference (FCIAC) championship game, during which they’ll take on Greenwich High School. The game is set for Thanksgiving Day at 10 a.m. in Greenwich.
