Former Staples standout Andrew Kennedy, a tight end for Columbia University, was named first team All-Ivy League last week.
Kennedy, a senior, caught 50 passes for 616 yards and nine touchdowns. For his career, Kennedy had 102 receptions, 1,187 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns. He is the first Columbia tight end since Wade Fletcher in 2004 to be named first team All-Ivy.
