NFL Commissioner To Visit Fairfield Giants Youth Football

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Roger Goodell, commissioner of the National Football League, will visit with Fairfield youth football players during a practice from 6:15-7:15 p.m. Wednesday at Sullivan Field.

Goodell is visiting the Fairfield Giants Youth Football program to congratulate the league for its program excellence and participation in Heads Up Football.

Heads Up is a program that is part of USA Football and endorsed by the NFL and NCAA that educates youth football players in proper, safer tackling, proper equipment and in concussion awareness and safety.

In addition, "Sports Illustrated" and NFL Films reportedly will be in attendance covering the event.
