WESTPORT, Conn. The Westport Police Athletic League seventh-grade girls basketball team defeated Fairfield, 34-31, in Saturday's B bracket championship game of the Fairfield County Basketball League.
The girls are coached by Erin Shaw and Ashley Delvecchio. Team members include Julia Brower, Virginia Gerig, Amelia Hunt, Grace McGinley, Morgan McWhirter, Claire Meehan, Charlotte Rossi, Rachel Seideman, Olivia Troy and Ashley Constantino. The team finished 14-10.
