Leopards Win Majors Division in Westport Softball

WESTPORT, Conn. – The Leopards defeated the Bobcats, 13-3, to win the Major Division in Westport Little League softball.

The Leopards defeated the Pumas, 10-5, in the semifinals. The team finished 10-2 and closed the season on a four-game winning streak. It also won nine of its final 10 games.

Team members include Kelley Moran, Emily Lomanto, Marnie Adelkopf, Liz Lomanto, Alexandra Birk, Lara Dimick, Gillian Birk, Willa Grimes, Sophie Betar, Ellen Dalen, Bryn Stephens and Tess Rubin. The team was coached by Adam Adelkopf and Harold Birk.
