FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Does your son or daughter dream of cheering on their high school teams?
Maybe they’d like to spend their Election Day off from school learning how.
On Nov. 7, Fairfield Warde High School cheerleaders and coaches are hosting a daylong cheerleading clinic.
Girls and boys in grades K through 8 will learn jumps, cheers, dance and motion technique at Fairfield Ludlowe Middle School’s large gym.
The clinic runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and all participants will be given a Warde cheer T-shirt and a chance to cheer with the Warde squad for the first quarter of the hotly contested Warde vs. Ludlowe Thanksgiving Day football game.
The program is $65 and all proceeds go to the cheer program.
For more details and to register by Nov. 1, contact coaches Nicole Conner and Rachel Zajac at wardecheerleading@gmail.com.
